AWFFL Is Flagging A Cure for Breast Cancer

Top Story:

The AWFFL would like to thank all of our members, coaches and supporters for another successful regular fall season. It is evident that our new teams made tremendous strides throughout the season improving on all aspects of the game. More importantly the level of competitive play and sportsmanship increased and teams’ positive energy on and off the field created a level of excited we strive for every season.

As always our league supports the development of women’s football and our members in all aspects of their lives. We would be remissed if we did not reach out and thank all of our coaches (Coach Charmaine, Coach Herman, Coach Curt, Coach Norm, Coach Al, Coach Mike, Coach Classic, Coach Omo, and Coach Williams). Your dedication to your team and our league is without a doubt one of the main components of our successful season.

The Lyte-N-Tyte Lady Warriors are your 2011 AWFFL Fall Season Champions followed closed behind by a stellar performance throughout the season by your 2011 AWFFL Fall Season Runner Up, Blackout who lead the league in scoring average 25.75 points per game and having the 2nd best defense to Lyte-N-Tyte who only gave up only 3.1 points per game with 5 shutouts.

Each team played as true competitors in our league this season. The new member teams added to our league made a huge difference. As we lead up to our playoffs scheduled for December 4th we will reveal the All-stars for our league. At this time we want to encourage all teams to come back to play in our Summer League scheduled for July and August months. We would like to thank the following teams for making this season a pure success:
